First up, Buddy-Lauri-Buddy took first place at Baker's Dozen, Leesburg VA. Blog posts everywhere talk about how tough the conditions were, how people only rode a portion of the race. Our three stood atop the podium in victory!
Follow up at Fair Hill by Rob Collins - 31st in Elite, Chris Consorto 4th and Dan Conrad 8th in 19-39 Expert (Chris doing his best imitation of Ryan DeWald by racing on his Cross bike), Andrew Hogg - 11th, James Ambagis 31st, and most heart breaking of all was Jihn Cleary's flat and subsequent DNF in 40-49th Expert. Eventual winner Mike Stevens (who I just met) told me he and Cleary were exchanging the lead all race until the flat. Sorry John and thank you for your down to earth comments to meat the start of the race.
